4.22.3 Monitoring A Sprinkler System
Separate zone connections must be made to both the waterflow switch and water shut off
valve when using the 4821/4820 to monitor a sprinkler system. Zone inputs on the 4821/4820
Control Panel are considered Class B (Style A). Refer to Figure 4-28 and Table 4-9 for wiring
configuration and zone programming requirements.

Note: The Sprinkler Supervisory zone type will display “supervisory”, and the Sprinkler zone type will display
“fire” on the 4860 touchpad display, when in the alarm state.
