Code Required for

Bypassing

If this option is enabled, users must enter a code to bypass or reinstate

(unbypass) zones even if the system is disarmed. This option applies

only to zones that can be bypassed manually. It does not apply to

unbypassable zones. (Unbypassable zones can be bypassed only

through auto closings, which are initiated by the system, not the user.)

This option must be enabled in a UL listed application.

Fast Restore after Alarm If this option is enabled, zone restores are reported to the central

station immediately. If this option is not selected, restores are not

reported to the central station until the end of the audio output

shutdown time or until the zone is reset.

Use Interactive Menus When this option is selected, all users will use interactive menus to

operate the system.

If this option is not selected, users in single-area systems can operate

the system by pressing the appropriate key on the Touchpad (toggling

method).

Multi-area systems always use some type of interactive menu, but if

the interactive menu option is not enabled, the operation will be

slightly different. Refer to Section 5 for more information about

system operation.

Anti-Passback Enabled When enabled, every user entry access must be followed by an exit

before a second entry is allowed. A user cannot access two entry doors

in a row or two exit doors in a row. When the system is reset or

powered up, the first access for a user can be either exit or entry and

determines what type of access is allowed to follow. Doors specified

as “Inside” doors can only be accessed by those users with “In” status.

Doors specified as “Outside” doors can only be accessed by those

users who have “Out” status.

Entry Delay Beeps on

Internal 1 Speaker

If this option is selected, an audible warning tone is sounded at the

internal 1 speaker during entry delays for all areas within this partition.

Exit Delay Beeps on Internal

1 Speaker

If this option is selected, an audible warning tone is sounded at the

internal 1 speaker during exit delays for all areas within this partition.

Chime Beeps on Internal 1

Speaker

If this option is selected, an audible chime tone sounds at the internal

1 speaker when an active chime zone changes from Ready to Not

Ready (or vice versa). The tones are different to distinguish between

door openings and closings. The chime sound occurs only if the zone

state change occurs with the zone disarmed.

Bell after Closing Report

Acknowledged

If this option is selected, whenever a closing report occurs for this par-

tition, two seconds of intrusion alarm tones will sound on the bell out-

put and at all speakers after the report to the central station is

complete. This option must be enabled in a UL Central Station Service

commercial burglary installation.

Two Second Bell Test when

Areas Arm

If this option is selected, whenever an area within this partition is

armed (either manually or automatically), two seconds of intrusion

alarm tones will sound at all speakers and the bell output.
