6.3.2.4 Reporting Accounts Screen

A maximum of 32 accounts (4821) or 8 accounts (4820) can exist for the entire system. All

32/8 accounts can exist in one partition. Accounts are used to select the events that will be

reported and the devices they will report to. Accounts can be set up to report events to central

station receivers or to local printers. Only events occurring in this partition will be reported to

this account. System events, such as low battery, low AC or phone line faults are an excep-

tion. System events will use this account (if the Report System Events option is selected, see

below).

All options in this menu can be programmed for each account number.

Option Description Default

Account Number Enter up to 6 digits for this account number. [blank]

Priority Enter a unique number for each account. The number will be used to identify the

account to the user and to determine the priority order for reporting of accounts

(that is, which account will be reported to first, which second, and so on). Priority

ascending

order (lower numbers have higher priority).

The system attempts to make the programmed number of attempts to the highest

priority account. If unable to report, the system will attempt to report to the

account with the next highest priority.

Range: 1-255

Phone Number Enter up to 16 digits or characters for the phone number for this account. A comma

can be used to insert a two second delay. If the Contact ID or SIA-500 reporting

format is selected, the dialer will report all accounts that have the same phone

number in the same call.

Special characters allowed are:* #, -(space)

Note: A Comma =two second pause. The - and (space have no effect but are

used for visual appearance.

Primary This device will be used first for reporting. Phone line 1

Secondary This device will be used if the report to the primary device is not successful. This

option is used only if the primary reporting device was a phone line.
